Yenista - Tunics Purity

The Tunics Purity offers a patented confi guration ensuring intracavity filtering of the background broadband ASE Tunicsnoise. The equivalent full width at half maximum (FWHM) of this filtering is as narrow as 0.15 nm, which makes the residual ASE almost unnoticeable. This pure ASE-noise-free operation does not compromise other key features of the state-of-the art tunable external cavity laser-diodes. The laser provides up to +3 dBm output power and covers S-, C- and L-band. Tunics Purity offers a ±50 pm wavelength accuracy after internal referencing.

Tunics Purity emits a pure high-power single-frequency laser line, enabling direct spectral measurements of filters and multiplexers with an unsurpassed dynamic range. This avoids complex set-ups requiring an additional tracking filter or the combination of an OSA, which often causes loss. In addition. the laser offers a full range of amplitude modulation capabilities and modes.

Yenista - OSICS Platform

The OSICS platform offers the highest flexibility and largest choice of plug-ins required in fiberoptic system testing,
particularly for Dense Wavelength Division MultiplexingOSICS (DWDM). Up to 8 plug-in modules can be mixed and matched in a
single OSICS mainframe, thus fulfilling all needs for applications requiring multi-wavelength sources.

OSICS features a complete line of modular sources including:
• OSICS-ECL, stepper tunable external cavity lasers based on TUNICS technology covering all telecom band;
• OSICS-DFB, High power distributed feedback laser diodes;
• OSICS-TLS, high power lasers tunable on ITU grid;
• OSICS-SWT, smart optical switch featuring Automatic Power Control to be used with 2 to 4 Osics ECL modules .
Key features:
• Affordable price – even if only one laser is used.
• Ease of use : simultaneous reading of Power and Wavelength info of the 8 modules.
• Full band telecom laser: 400nm in one single compact instrument (ECL400).

Yokogawa - AQ2200-136 TLS

In recent years there have been increasing deployments of the fiber to the home (FTTH) service in access network areas, along with advances in transmission technologies AQ2200-136such as B-PON, G-PON, and GE-PON. In addition, there have been important advances in CWDM transmission technology, which is expected to be used in metropolitan areas. As networks have evolved, there has been an increasing need for high price-performance measuring instruments capable of high-throughput evaluation of the optical characteristics of optical devices and components used in these facilities. The AQ2200-136 TLS module is an optional wideband variable wavelight source designed for the A2200 multi-application test system. Although it is lightweight with a small, 2-slot module, it is capable of tuning the range of 1440 nm to 1640 nm.

  • Wavelength range:
    • 1440 to 1640 nm (full coverage of 1550 nmband CWDM)
  • Wavelength accuracy:
    • ±100 pm
  • Output level:
    • +7 dBm or more (maximum output wavelength);
    • –8 dBm or more for all wavelength range
  • Wavelength sweeping speed:
    • 50 nm/second

Alnair - Mode-locked Fibre Laser

PFL-100 is a fibre-based mode-locked femtosecond pulse source incorporating carbon-nanotube mode-locker. It is suitable for optical measurement system and nonlinear PFL-100process investigation. The laser is turn-key operation, compact, lightweight and low electrical power consumption. Additionally, it features a highly stable repetition frequency with low amplitude noise and timing jitter, which is excellent for numerous applications.

Turn-key operation
Femtosecond pulsewidth
> 30 dB polarization extinction ratio
> 65dB high side-modes suppression
< 1KHz repetition frequency drift

For research and development or for production and testing environments the benchtop instruments in various form factors. Our benchtop instruments are highly customizable and can be configured with up to eight SLEDs for ultra-broadband light sources. These instruments can either have individual optical outputs for each SLED or can be configured to have one common output where the spectra of the individual SLEDs are combined.

In the long-wavelength range DMOptics can offer an ultra-broadband 350-nm light source from 1270 to 1620 nm with more than 40 mW of optical output power. In the short-wavelength range EXALOS can offer an ultra-broadband 170-nm light source from 750 to 920 nm.

Yokogawa -White light Source

The AQ4305 white light source provides incoherent light to measure wavelength dependent loss characteristics for optical devices and optical fibers, in conjunction with an AQ4305optical spectrum analyzer. The AQ4305 higher power density (more than 5dB at 1310 nm) compared to previous model allows significantly faster sweep time of the optical spectrum analyzer. The wide wavelength range 400 to 1800 nm provides various applications from visible band to all telecomm band.
